The Best Valentine's Gift

The best valentine I've received was yesterday. My seven-year-old, Noah, who is not feeling well, came downstairs and sat on the loveseat adjacent from me. He looked at me and said these words, "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love you soooooo much." The best....EVER!!!

Siedschlag Adoption - Autism & Hope

Welcome to our blog. God has blessed us tremendously in so many ways. One of the most significant ways is with our two sons, Noah who is 8 and Judah who is 7. Both of our sons have autism and both have been such a blessing to us. Some people think we are crazy when we tell them that we are in the process of adoption. "With two children with special needs, it seems you already have your hands full" is a comment we often hear. Indeed, God has filled our plates, our hands, our time, and our hearts. Although it can be very challenging at times, what a privilege it is to receive God's blessings from our two sons. They both have been born naturally into our family. God has designed each one perfectly to fit into our lives to fulfill His purpose. We are excited to meet the little one God chooses to place in and become a part of our family! We have been praying for a little boy who has been diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Yes, our hands are full, and if God desires to fill our hands and hearts to overflowing with more of the joy that comes from His blessings, why would we say "no, thanks"?
